Shane Wingard has been appointed by the State Government as Chief Executive of Renewal SA, following a successful 11-month period as Acting Chief Executive.

With more than 25 years of experience in the property sector, Shane has led the delivery of some of South Australia's most significant urban renewal, industrial and defence projects, including Southwark Grounds, Bowden, Playford Alive, and the Deep Maintenance and Modification Facility.

He is highly experienced in complex property transactions, project delivery and multi-agency collaboration, with a strong focus on delivering projects of state significance.

As the South Australian Government's property and urban development agency, Renewal SA is central to the Government’s expansive policy agenda to increase housing supply.

Renewal SA plays a pivotal role in unlocking investment opportunities for South Australia and delivering strategic projects that support the state's long-term economic growth and prosperity.

Mr. Wingard will transition into the role immediately and continue his work on delivering housing and urban renewal projects across South Australia.
