The Department for Housing and Urban Development’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) 2026–2029 outlines our commitment to creating an inclusive, accessible and equitable workplace. It focuses on supporting all staff, particularly people with disability, neurodivergence, and caring responsibilities.
The plan sets out how DHUD will identify and remove barriers, promote equity, and ensure staff can fully participate and thrive over the next four years.
The DAIP also incorporates the DHUD Autism Strategy Action Plan. Bringing these commitments together in one document ensures a coordinated approach, clear accountability, and easier access to information for staff and the wider community.
